The Technology department is responsible for the technical preparation necessary for fixed/floating platform installation and removal, pipeline and subsea installation projects.In order to support the often Technically challenging projects we are looking for a Structural Engineer. His or her scope will involve the structural design analysis of our (new) equipment and various Offshore structures as applicable for our business.
Responsible for performing Structural design / analysis
Steer (concept) design project teams with a focus on structural design aspects
Perform detailed design scopes
Challenge approaches in current business scopes
Solve and/or support the technical challenges in Structural Engineering
Concept and/or Functional Design of Structures
Improve the level of knowledge in competence / specialty within Technology
REQUIREMENTS
You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
The company is flexible on candidate experience both in terms of years of experience and industry, candidates off all levels and backgrounds are welcome to apply
Experience in perfoming FEM analysis
Preferably you have relevant experience in the detailed and concept design of Offshore structures and you have application know-how of structural/analysis packages such as SACS
Finite Element experience with packages such as ABAQUS are an advantage
You have good command of the English language, both spoken and written
You are willing to work temporarily offshore on our vessels or overseas
